ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The NeurAstra Educational Programme (NAEP), now in its second edition—the Flammarion Promotion (2025/2026)—is an educational initiative designed to engage individuals passionate about science, nature, and space. Named after the 19th-century French astronomer Camille Flammarion, celebrated for his boundless curiosity and dedication to learning, this programme aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and perseverance in research. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into research projects close to NeurAstra’s initiatives while developing key methodologies and skills for launching impactful projects.

AT A GLANCE

Over the course of one year, participants will work independently at their own pace on their project, with the support and guidance of the NeurAstra team. Participants may bring their own research project aligned with NeurAstra’s initiatives or choose from a curated list of topics provided by NeurAstra (see RESEARCH PROJECTS for reference). While there are no strict monthly workload requirements, the programme is structured around key milestones across the year to ensure steady progress and meaningful outcomes (details to be provided).

MODALITIES
NAEP adopts a remote-first framework, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for participants across the globe. This autonomous format encourages independent work while fostering collaboration through virtual check-ins, mentorship sessions, and when possible in-person gatherings (i.e., the Feynman Promotion met at CERN to explore the world of particle physics together and celebrate our year of hard work.) The programme allows participants to manage their schedules while benefiting from a supportive network to guide their progress and ensure meaningful outcomes.
