ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The NeurAstra Educational Programme (NAEP), now in its third edition—the Ramón y Cajal Promotion (2026/2027)—is an educational initiative designed to engage individuals passionate about science, nature, and space. 

Named after Santiago Ramón y Cajal, the pioneering Spanish neuroscientist often regarded as the father of modern neuroscience, celebrated for his meticulous observation, scientific imagination, and strong dedication to understanding the nervous system, this programme aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and perseverance in research. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into research projects closely aligned with NeurAstra’s initiatives while developing key methodologies and skills for launching impactful projects.







NAEP Second Edition — Flammarion Promotion

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Building on the success of our inaugural Feynman Promotion, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our second edition in 2025: the Flammarion Promotion. Named after the 19th-century French astronomer Camille Flammarion, renowned for his boundless curiosity and love of learning, this edition introduces exciting new features to inspire collaboration and perseverance in research. Additionally, as 2025 marks the centenary of Flammarion’s passing, we will honour the legacy of this pioneering astronomer and draw inspiration from his remarkable contributions to science.

The NeurAstra Educational Programme (NAEP) is dedicated to inspiring curiosity, fostering knowledge, and empowering the next generation of explorers. Named the Feynman Promotion, this year’s initiative pays tribute to the legendary physicist Richard Feynman, embodying his passion for learning, teaching, and uncovering the mysteries of the universe.

Through workshops, lectures, and hands-on projects, participants will explore topics at the intersection of science, nature, and space. The Feynman Promotion encourages creative thinking, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the challenges and possibilities that shape our world.
